Half a mill for a bite of deadly red snapper..

red snapperFood poisoning is not just in Scarborough where Ruby is now being evicted after being cited twice for health problems. Up to 36 people may have been laid low by this highly praised Chinese restaurant.

Now word comes from Britain where approx half a mill has been awarded to tourist Beryl Rushton. She was enjoying a two-week break at the Hacienda Tropical beach resort in the Puerto Plata region of the Dominican Republic when she bit into the red snapper.

‘When I bit into my red snapper I saw a big black worm with blood round it in the middle of the fish,’ she said.

‘It was disgusting. A few hours later I started to feel really ill. The stomach pains were horrendous.’
